Mt Ashland Inn is surrounded by Northwest wilderness and is right on the Pacific Crest Trail - the only lodging on this famous hiking trail from Canada to Mexico. There are fun places to snowshoes, cross-country ski and sled - the snow season is typically December through April! Just 3 miles up the road you'll find a great downhill ski area, Ski Ashland. Ski Ashland has 4 lifts, 1150 vertical feet and 23 tree-lined trails and great snow! Mt. Ashland receives and retains a fine quality snow not usually found in the Pacific Northwest. In summer, the hiking is spectacular and birds and wildflowers are abundant!

Many of our guests take a day trip to Crater Lake National Park. Other great day trips, which we highly recommend, include the Oregon Caves National Monument, Noah's River Adventures, Fun Factory Snowmobile Rentals & Dogsled Express at Deer Mountain Park, and Hellgate Jet Boat Excursions. Golf lovers will find a great selection of courses ranging from Ashland's 9-Hole Oak Knoll Golf Course to Eagle Point , a world-class golf course about 1 ½ hour drive from the Inn.
